So many homebound individuals in North Port are relying on you for a friendly visit and a fresh meal each day. Come realize how rewarding it is to give to others.

Who We Serve

Our service area is the entire city limits of North Port from Wellen Park to the Charlotte County line. This area is divided into 8 to 10 routes.

​

Requirements:

All volunteers must show proof of COVID vaccination

Drivers must be 16 years old with a valid driver’s license and car insurance and submit to a background check

Kitchen helpers must be at least 18 years old

 

Drivers:

Drivers’ pickup food around 9:30 am and finish in about 2 hours.

High school students are welcome to fulfill their community service hours here as a driver.

 

Kitchen Helpers

Kitchen helpers work from 7 to 10 am once a week.

Our services are available to any adult resident of North Port who is not able to shop for or prepare at least one nutritious meal per day.  
Adults of ALL incomes and ages may be eligible for meals.  Meals on Wheels does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, color, gender, disability, or national origin.  North Port Meals on Wheels is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
